Firefighter...Yes, I do!!! I will never be rich, but I will always love coming to work. Don't get me wrong, I make good money and I only work 10 day a month(I also have a second job, every firefighter does). There are some down sides I guess... While everyone was at home Christmas Day, I was working. I was ok with working because I love my crew like my family. Plus, there is nothing like it... I guess you would have to be a firefighter to know what I am talking about. If you are looking for jobs...try your local FD you will not be sorry.

I am an electrician at a state run mental institute,I do some plumbing, welding, communications, testing, safety etc.,etc.
I enjoy it because I know that what I do makes a difference and lets the patients live well and usually better than being on the outside. Also knowing that without the knowledge of my trade,my liscense and the strict guidelines and testing procedures the institute would close.I like that responsibility to the people we serve. It has its moments but overall its a good job.I sure don't do it for the money, state govt's dont pay so well as outside firms. But I won't complain!

I can't say that I really enjoy it. I work at a "State Hospital" commonly known as a Psychiatric Hospital. The stress level is high, cause your getting cussed at everyday when you walk in there, and plus you never know when a resident is going to attack you. The advantages to the job is the benefits!!! I don't know of any other place that give you 3 weeks paid vacation & 14 holiday pay ...which equals 5 weeks of free pay the first year working and it increases according to seniority. I would prefer to work for myself if I had the option.

Yes, I do. I'm assistant property manager for two multi-tenant office complexes. It's a fun, "people" oriented job, regular contact with a wide variety of people.
