If you look on a map of the Uk, there is nothing directly north of Leeds, in the middle of carlisle and Newcastle, all the way upto Glasgow.
No cities or towns whatsover by the looks of it.
I understand the penine hills may cover some of that area, but saying that, Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford etc are all on the Penines.
So why is there nothing there?
Such a big space!
I'm all for it being nice countryside but for imagination - Would it be possible to start a New Town/City there?
