ok, you may now chew your individual head off -- because of the fact British/German or Aussie are no longer races, yet communicate with people from Britain, Germany or Australia. those are international locations! you may have your black people from Australia or Germany, there, and your chinese language descended people in Britain. (colors of Archie Bunker!) Your Jewish buddy exchange into nearer to ultimate than you or your 4 pals! right it is why: fact is, we are a faith yet in addition a rustic/people (Israel with people observed as "Jewish" or "Israeli" if presently interior the country. basically such as you may call your self British yet no longer stay in GB). So while somebody says they're Italian or Spanish or British, pertaining to their u . s . a . -- Jews can say we are Jewish pertaining to our u . s . a ./kinfolk. Belgian or German or Finnish isn't a race, they're nationalities. Judaism isn't a race, it is a nationality that's additionally a faith. So your buddy exchange into ultimate - Judaism is the two a rustic/people like Germany and a faith to boot as Buddhism and local American faith. u . s . a . isn't the comparable as ethnicity the two! There are Hispanic people from Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Spain, and so on. who're now individuals and Asians from China, Malaysia, and so on. interior the U. S. (a rustic or tribe/state). you additionally can call your self a Maineiac, Texan, New Yorker finding on even if state (each and every state has it is very own little ethnic flavorings or perhaps sub-ethnicities by potential of area) -- or all of those can say they're American (which would be puzzled with Canadians and Brazilians who're additionally from the Americas). Oh look, no neat little racial, ethnic, tribal or national classification labels right here the two! How approximately that. Curley Mo and Larry watch your individual heads waving that huge rubber hammer questioning British/German or Irish/Italian is a race. good grief, those nationalities (all ecu) communities have been combating for years. authentic, Judaism is a faith and it is a nationality. and.........the placement for the Jewish u . s . a . of Israel is none different than Israel. yet no longer a race because of the fact each and every race and ethnicity has Israeli citizenship. eh, thank you for this question for the 14th million time! i eventually have been given it why the haters have the desire to make us a race and not a faith or u . s . a . -- to get the concentration off people being rightfully in Israel.

When asked about my heritage I explain I am half Salvadoran (from El Salvador) and half Colombian.

The follow up question 98% of the time is "Oh, so your Mexican?"

I then have to explain the geographical and political differences in the 3 countries only to hear, "So your Mexican right?"

Although I am a woman I was asked if Black men's genitals were the same color as their skin or the palms of their hands.
(And I have also been asked a lot of stupid hair questions). Oh, I have another one. I am often asked what I am mixed with (because of my hair and skin color, I think) although I am not of mixed race.
