would you help the victim or the racists and why

I have intervened in racist attacks in the past and would not hesitate to do so in the future. Being afraid is not an excuse for inaction in any situation where another is being victimized.

I would help the one being attacked...but it really depends on so many things. Is there a weapon involved? Is it one-on-one or many-on-one? I could yell "stop it" or if they have guns or knives call the police. I'm not someone who can physically fight.
I'm white, and if the victim was white, coming to his/her rescue against a mob of white-hating people wouldn't help me or the victim. I'd probably call the cops without getting personally in the middle. That's the problem with racism--everyone of a certain race is automatically "bad" while your race is "good"; they can't see people as individuals. Every race has good and bad people.

A friend of mine who is an ex-cop recently broke up what he thought was a simple fight in a drugstore parking lot and it turned out the victim had been stabbed repeatedly. I don't know if it was racial or what. But my friend got the license plate of the car the attackers drove off in and gave first aid to the victim. The victim had surgery and lived; the attackers were all caught and arrested.

I'd help the victim, regardless of personal saftey (eek eek eek and I'm calling 911) because racism is wrong and an attack in any form is equally wrong. I dislike bullies to a very large degree.

I would be very reluctant to get involved to be honest. I know that sounds terrible but it's an honest answer. I would shout and try to get them to stop but to actually go over and get physically involved would be a stupid thing to do in this day and age. Sad but true! It wouldn't matter if it was racist or otherwise I still would not get involved.

I'd help the victim and tongue lash the racist, even if he/she is black! And to think we are in the 21st century and still have such nonsense! Racism reminds us that we have not gotten as far as we think we have.

I would like to think there was a large machine-gun to hand, or a chainsaw, or samurai sword. Then I'd like to think I'd go steaming into the racist scum and send bodyparts spinning everywhere.

Then I'd have a nice cup of tea.

I would help the victim, I can't bear to see people in pain or suffering and no one has the right to be subject to physical or mental abuse

I would help the victim if I could and call for help if possible.

An attack is an attack.
Racism does not come into the equation.
I would get involved (I have done before), to help a fellow man.

not in this day in age, its too dangerous, im not just talking about racist attacks but any attacks, I've heard so many stories on the 'hero' being seriously hurt or even killed. I personally think keepyour self to yourself.
