It can't be right, the shop my mate works for is being knocked down, he can continue to work for them in thier new premises in a month's time but they refuse to pay him for the month during the new shop being set up, it's not his fault they are relocating.

file for unemployment. that is just grounds for that kind of assistance. if he is stressed about paying the bills then tell him to call the credit card company's and ask for a month or two to be deferred. lots of things you can do if you ahve to miss a couple paychecks.

So,,,,,,,,the company is supposed to pay your mate for a month of NOT working? WHY? If you're upset about it, YOU pay him for not working for you too. In fact, everyone in the world that your mate is NOT working for should pay him!!! IDIOT!
