after all the blatent crimes against humanity, war crimes, genocide from trying to eliminate the kurd's after the '91 gulf war just for starters, i'm very surprized that saddam survived as long as he did without being overthrown by his own people. only stalin would be more brutal than saddam. until stalin's death, he was the most feared man in russia. those that started ww2 also was hanged after being convicted.

Oh goodie we're bring God into this. Ok so saying God gave him life and this man misused his life to cause death to his people. Some will argue that God works in ways to cause punishment. Which is of course debatable but of course everything is debatable. But it's possible. So now God just gets to deal with him sooner so big deal? It saves his country from paying his bill to be cared for because his country has paid enough for his evil ways!
I use to not be so thrilled on the idea of ending a persons life. I think mainly because at the time I was scared of death. However death is a part of life. In the wild it's survival of the fittest and even the king of the jungle can come crashing down. At least nature has balance. Human nature has little balance and so balance is created in what many would call inhumane behavior. What's inhumane is the fact that people can create such a fuss over an evil person without giving consideration to the evils that should be stopped. Would you rather put your energy into a person who doesn't deserve it? Or would you rather put it toward someone who is innocent and needs help? Like the people who's lives have been ruined by this man?

God gave laws to the nation of Israel that allowed criminals to be stoned to death for lesser crimes than murder. Sadam knew the laws of his own land before he committed his crimes. His punishment is just for his actions by his own countries laws. All the moralizing in the world will not change that.

It costs Iraq $204, 000 per year to keep Saddam alive in jail.
That money could be better spent in victims' compensation to the families of the citizens of Iraq he killed back in 1982.
I say let justice be done. Kill him.

No man has the right to take another person's life, no matter what they have done. It is not right.

Look at this way - they gave him a life sentence...then shortened it with a long rope.

You're right, he shouldn't be hung. He should be hanged. I hope you make posts like this more often, each and every time someone dies in a grammatically incorrect way!
