You are driving in a van with five other most loved members of your family. Out of nowhere, a truck swerves and crashes head on through the windshield and kills the people in the front 2 rows instantly. you are sitting in the back with your cousin/sibling, and you are both pinned down at your seat. The van catches fire at the gasoline tanks and it explodes, killing your cousin/sibling. You survive but the fire rages throughout the car and you clothes catch fire. You burn and scream but nobody is able to pull you from the burning wreckage and you pass out into a coma from the searing pain. When you wake up four days later at the hospital, you find that both of your legs are broken and one is amputated from the knee down. You've lost your nose, ears, most of your vision, and most of your hair and fingers. You look at your highly burnt and damaged face, and the contrast is soo overwhelming that u look away. The pain is unbearable. All the relatives on the van with you have been buried.

The driver that crashed into you was intoxicated and on both marijuna and alchohol when he was driving. He is sentenced to 11 years in prison. Would life still be beautiful for you? Would you be able to forgive the person who caused it?

This isn't a true story, but it is based off of Jaqcueline Saburido's life changing experience. visit her website, and find out what has changed for her, and why she still has hope.

To be completely honest, I don't know how I would react to my own disabilities, but I do know as much as I would like to believe I would forgive the person that did this to my family, I COULD NOT. I would probably scorn myself for living thru it, and I would hate the driver of the truck for the rest of my life.

Uh, I would f*cking kill myself. There would be nothing more to your life. Don't give me that jesus mumbo jumbo. That is just a religious theory. Your life would ALREADY be hell. You have nothing to live for except pain, financial ruin, no family, will not even be who you are. It would be the smart way out not the cowards way out. Tell you what, if I got to the gates and God questioned me I'd say 'we'll ya see, you kinda killed my whole ****** family, disfigured me, ruined an chance at a career or loving relationship with a woman. All of my senses to interperate the world around me, what HAVEN'T you taken? You already sent me to hell, might at well let me have heaven.

What a sad question. I hope that didn't really happen to someone. I don't think may people would forgive. Life can only be beautiful when one is thankful to be alive. I would rather be where my relatives are. I would wonder what reason there is to be alive.
Your question makes me realize that life is beautiful for me right now because that hasn't happened.

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times?"
Forgiveness is a choice. You might not feel like forgiving someone; you have to choose to forgive.
(Mathew 18:21)
That sounds horrible, but eventually I would forgive the person.

If God still wanted me to live then I must have a reason to be there, why view the world as ugly? It would just be a new beginning.

is this something that has happened? If not then you have a VERY vivid imagination! I think that life would be really hard, not doubt.
