I chose the surgery

We took Hamburger Hill. Lost a hell of a lot of good men in Nam. Cheltenham that is. We couldn't get in the Burger King to get the new Angus Burger.

The hardest thing was making the decision to give my son up for adoption and dealing with the resulting consequences, which I still deal with to this day.

Telling someone I actually really admire that I had found out something potentially very damaging about them that had made me consider that they were a criminal. Oh, it got results, but that person will never speak to me again.

Standing with my daughter at the funeral home to see her son that had just died of suicide and felt helpless to protect my own child from the hurt she was feeling losing her child and my grandson. Would not wish that on my worst enemy
