I have been on a financial downspiral for months and in January I will only be able to afford the basics and will have to default on all my credit cards and then by mid year I will be homeless as my resources run out. I don't make enough money but my job schedule is not the same each week and I work on weekends, afternoons, evenings, some mornings. Getting a second job is difficult when everyone wants someone who can work weekends and evenings and you already do that. I don't have transportation other than foot and bus and can't be out past dark so I have many obstacles and no real friends. No family other than daughter who isn't with me although I still give her money although I won't be able to do that for long either. I suffer from severe depression and social anxiety disorder (I have since junior high 30 years ago) and don't have the time or money for treatment and any free treatment in my city is way over on the other side of town. My news years wish is to cease to exist.

In my last month before I hit the bottom, I will only have money for rent and electric, so how do I tell my daughter I can't afford to give her any more money and can't afford anything for her birthday? It just won't be there. On top of that the job that I work at now is very demanding although they only give me part time hours, we have meetings all the time that cut into the day and the bosses attitude to those who have other jobs is to tell there employer they can't work that day during the meetint hours. One lady I work with looses her entire work day at her other job so she can attend a 2 hour meeting every month or so.

I don't have a big education, just highschool way back in the 80's. I'm terrible with directions no matter how hard I try and don't excel at anything. I'm not having a pitty party, I'm just explaining it the way it is. Don't have the time or money to go to school for years as that wouldn't pay my bills either.

Offhand, I'd suggest you go to a house of worship. Not just to talk to God, but to talk to clergy and other people there. They're usually very good people, and they'll either make you feel better, and/or help you, give you good advice, etc. I got a job from a guy at our synagogue, it really helped my life.
