Yes, I've heard of that. It is quite common with HS girls. Quite annoying as well. :(

My friend Bob, dated his ex-girlfriend's sister just to make her jealous. One year later he married the sister and they still act like kids who have just fallen in love. The ex married for money and died a miserable alcoholic wretch.
