Winter Parking!



One winter morning in Essex a couple were listening to the radio while eating breakfast. They heard the announcer say, "We are going to have 8 to 10 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the even-numbered side of the street, so the snowploughs can get through." Norman's wife went out and moved her car.
A week later while they were again eating breakfast, the radio announcer said, "We are expecting 10 to 12 inches of snow today. You must park your car on the odd-numbered side of the street, so the snowploughs can get through." Norman 's wife went out and moved her car again.
The next week they were again having breakfast, when the radio announcer said, "We are expecting 12 to 14 inches of snow today. You must park ..."
Then the electric power went off.
Norman's wife was very upset, and with a worried look on her face she said, "Honey, I don't know what to do. Which side of the street do I need to park on so the snowploughs can get through?"
With the love and understanding in his voice that all men who are
married to blondes exhibit, Norman said. "Why don't you just leave it in the garage this time?"

And before you all start yelling 'What you waiting for? Why you still on the computer?' - it's because this happens a lot, and I've called the police before .... last time I did it though, the woman who was being beaten up told me to butt the hell out. I don't know how she knew it was me that dialed 999 but whatever.

Anyway, the reason I'm umming and ahhing is because they have a toddler.

(1 average size& 1 in excess of 300lbs)& they wanted to drink on someone else's tab.when I refused to let them they became irate & they began to argue with me.I asked them to leave,but they wouldn't.Just as all this was happening I was trying to serve other customers when the fat one came up behind me behind the bar& pushed me off of a 6 inch ledge breaking my ankle.She eventually apologized and paid me for her stupidity,however the other one can't seem to let it go for what ever reason.Every time I see her in the bar she makes it a point to start an arguement with me.I have told her time & time again that I don't want anything to do with her.I think she is trouble.I don't want to hurt her,but I'm not going to help her either.I just want to be left alone.She will even call my bf & ask him out!I live in a small town & it is impossible to avoid her.What can I do to make her stop so I don't have to kick her *** & go to jail?

You are in the privacy of your home expecting peace and quiet, you have those retarded people with extremely loud bass that pass by in their cars? Shouldn't they save that for competitions instead of letting the world know that they are listening to a talent-free music that's looped and full of keyboarded bass and sound samples which sucks?

I'm looking for a unique and not too expensive gift for a man that reads Men's Vogue, collects mid-century modern furniture, smokes high-end cigars, drinks Hennesy, wears Ben Sherman/Merc and basically enjoys the more unique and finer things in life. In the age of the "77 hour work week" is that a disadvantage to women who want to have a family and get ahead while doing the 25-35 hour work week and balancing play dates and soccer schedules? Is it fair to expect ANY candidate to work that many hours and be married to thier job to get ahead at the office? Many men knowingly accept the sacrifice of family for work and are fully expected to (even by thier families) but the fact that a married woman seeks to lose her family or a single woman will never have time for a family that takes many women out of the race. Is it fair that women get left out or is it a sacrifice that they will have to make to get the same rewards. To work the same 5am-8pm schedule many or her male co-workers on the fast track have to accept to be able to compete for the top promotions?
