I am not in a relationship with a man but all the examples I see on TV and the news seem like most men are just persuing sex and the more perverted the better and don't care at all what they do or have any standards for their own behavior. I feel like 100 years ago men had strict standards for their own conduct and behavior and would not sink to such low egotistical penis driven standards that they do now.

the company?..or the consumer?..can we really blame ciggarette companies, when the consumers are the ones making the purchase and decision...

are we blaming sugar companies for high blood pressure?

or people who send steaks and meat for heart attacks?

seriously can we really blame the companies for cancer and otheer things...smoking does mess up ur health..but there is a warning on every box.....

it is frezing in chicago for almost a week now and the teampture are in the 0 degree and it is in other midewestern cities like detriot. shouldn't our globe be warmer or hoter acording to these scientist. if the globe is getting hoter why i am sleeping with stocks and sweaters on in chicago even when the heaters are on. this gobal warming thing a hoax

I remember when we used to be known as 'GREAT Britain' rather than 'Cool Britannia'. Every day in the papers there is an article about someone being told not to do something, and they stop doing it, however ridiculous it may seem.

Example 1: Businesses are told not to put up decorations in case they offend non-Christians.

Common sense view: Let each religion celebrate however it wishes, as long as no one is physically injured. Otherwise, if Christmas is to be cancelled, can M&S be sued because it is closed on Christmas Day when some people may want to go shopping??

Example 2: Man is fined for putting paper in with his bottle recycling.

Common sense view: What difference does this make? Do they not realise that most bottles have labels on them? So, are we now meant to remove the labels when we recycle our bottles?

If people can’t put up with the odd rude comment about them,then why do they bother coming on this site at all. I Know it is not right that it happens, but that is how life is. If they can’t handle it on the internet, what are they going to be like in real life. Who else agrees.

I have had the same problems keep cropping up these last few years, and things are still not looking up. I am not yet suicidal, but definitely not enjoying my life. I don't have major health problems, but I am not very optimistic lately due to various other issues.

Anyone have stories to share about how they coped during their low periods and how life ended up being worth it again? How did they maintain optimism during prolonged periods of sadness?

When people say work hard...work hard in school, work hard at work, work hard at this or that....what do you believe they mean and why?

I ask since there is a set number of hours in the day, so minus meals/sleep etc leaves everyone with the same hours, so how do hard workers work?

why is blair trying to double the uk's nuclear weapons, we already have way too many, his excuses are that we need more because of north korea and terrorists, how the hell do you nuke a terrorist? and as for north korea, theve got a couple of bombs without delivery systems, i hardly see that as a major threat. Bear in mind we have 160 trident missiles already (each with an 8 bomb payload). whats going on? madness!
