Do most men today seem to have no character or values for their own conduct?

I am not in a relationship with a man but all the examples I see on TV and the news seem like most men are just persuing sex and the more perverted the better and don't care at all what they do or have any standards for their own behavior. I feel like 100 years ago men had strict standards for their own conduct and behavior and would not sink to such low egotistical penis driven standards that they do now.

All my boyfriends I eventually found out fit this description too. They fooled me at first. It took time to find out what secrets they were hiding. They had deliberate fronts they put on for the first several months I knew them so I wouldn't leave. There may be nice guys with standards for their own conduct but I can only recall knowing one or two in my 54 years. I often consider moving to England as many other American women have done because American men are right down there on the list for the most vile men in the world.

I agree, so many are twisted and concerned only with porn and other immoral things. I know there are still a few good ones out there though, somewhere.

It's ironic. I hear this complaint all the time, but when I look around, so many girls don't even seem to want the good guys. I've seen it so many times, the nice guy getting shoved onto the friend ladder. I used to be a 'nice guy,' but all I ever got out of that was being pushed around by guys and being ignored romantically by girls. If this is really what girls wanted, that obviously shouldn't have been the case.

And seriously, basing that claim off of TV? Who do you think gets on TV: the boring nice guys who don't do anything controversial, or the much more interesting bad boys who drink too much and sleep around?
