Have you lived or do you currently live in Evansville, IN? I'm interested in this area due to the lower cost of living and the laid-back aspect I'm told about but I have a few questions: I've heard the air really smells bad, is this true? Are their any really bad parts of town I should look out for? How are the real estate taxes? I am doing a lesson plan for a 7th grade class (it's an English class, but I am trying to cross it over with current events) where I use Time Magazine for Kids. Then, the students will pick a story (usually there are at least three news stories) and write a paragraph about the topic and what they thought about the story, What do you think? Any suggestions for improvement? I am planning on grading their pragraphs for grammatical errors, etc.

The reality is the vast majority of British muslims a peaceful people who respect our laws and contribute to our society, yet the media desperatly cling on to any one individual minorities opinion and present it as the view of the masses. Look at the veil argument... what impact does a muslim woman who choses to wear a veil have on YOUR life? None! Yet the media grabs onto it and makes it an excuse to demonise all muslims... Why can't people see beyond what their televison is telling them?

Here's the deal...my boss is sleeping with one of my co-workers..I know this probably happens alot, but we work in a hospital and in a small unit with only about 12 employees. At first they tried to hide it, now they are pretty open about it. No one likes working with her, she does whatever she wants because she knows she can get away with it. Now the holidays are coming up, and he has taken me off my regular rotation to give her the time off. This is going to put me working all 3 major holidays, plus everyone else is just getting mad about how she is getting special treatment...Any ideas of what we should all do????

I mean at life, School(Im 17, NOT EMO) im just on an emotional depression right now, i skipped school today and friday, and wednesday, ill probably get dropped and then what will i do? I feel like complete crap, my mom goes to work everyday and still stays strong, why cant I? I know im better than this, but i have a bad problem staying up too late at night and dont wanna get up the next morning, whats up with mE? Sometimes i feel like id be better off 6 feet under, For my Sake, and for Everyones Sake! I just lost the girl i loved, and now im about to FAIL which means no future for me. I need an alternative, like going back to Cigarettes or Dip, I quit all that like 3 weeks ago.
