As if blacks are just whites with darker skin and that's it. I find it hard to believe that in this day and age people can still believe this but it's true.

If that's the case, then why was a heart medication awhile back approved only for blacks?

An anthropolgist can look at various skulls and he can determine whether it was a caucasoid, *******, or mongoloid.

Would this be the case if it was just skin? I think not.

If God is all knowing, then he knows our fate right?....Well, if he knows our fate then do we really have free will? I mean....if he knows what is going to happen to us everyday and knows what we are doing and what our choices are going to be then do we really have the choice or does it just seem like we have the choice. Do we just have the illusion of free will since God knows our fate?

I have an essay to write for an English class relating the effect that popular culture has on society and vice versa. I, personally, feel that certain shows and movies that have been made, such as Survivor, are simple entertainment that does not require people to use their brains. Media has become a mechanism of pure enjoyment with no actual substance.
I am interested to see what other people think about this subject. Also, if you have any websites that could be enlightening, it would be much appreciated.

Lately I've noticed that many stand up comedians have been making 9/11 jokes. What is up with this? Maybe I'm out of touch with the latest trends in comedy, but I still don't find this topic funny. Perhaps someone can explain the humor behind this, and why this is funny? Is there some unwritten "5 year" rule ?????

Most people I've seen in London this week have bare lapels. I remember when everyone wore one as a mark of respect - do people care less? If you don't have one, is it by choice or because you've not seen a seller yet?
