Lately I've noticed that many stand up comedians have been making 9/11 jokes. What is up with this? Maybe I'm out of touch with the latest trends in comedy, but I still don't find this topic funny. Perhaps someone can explain the humor behind this, and why this is funny? Is there some unwritten "5 year" rule ?????

I listened to David Cross make one about the people working at the replica NY city in Vegas......or something like this.

Anyone is doing these jokes is really rude! Also, there is nothing funny about that joke. It's not funny and it's not even close to funny.9\11 is a very big deal in the U.S. and people should not do it no matter what the reason.I have never heard any of these jokes or anyone to use them but I am still going with this answer because it is still very rude and mean to the U.S.

I have not heard anyone make a 9-11 joke. Its ridiculous if they do and is highly inappropriate.

i dont know. they think theyre being edgy, but its still innapropriate. its hard to be a comedian these days, so u have to do SOMETHING to stand out.
