no as long as you do not think too highly of your self.
it is just confidence in who you are, and that is a good thing.

No. I carry my self esteem with elegance. If I can get a person to see the better qualities in themselves, that brings out the best in me. I am attractive, smart and funny as a whip, but I never come off as arrogant. If you don't of yourself in a manner that's befitting, who else will?

You better think highly of yourself, because if you don't, who will. But don't go around thinking you're better than everyone else, because that would make you arrogant. Just keep up the confidence, and if people still think you're snobby, then screw them. They need to get a life!

I too think highly of myself. I know I'm not perfect, but I like how I look and more importantly, I like myself as a person. It's a good feeling not to be hampered by low self-esteem, and it frees up my energy to think highly of my friends and family as well. :)

It's good to have self-esteem, but too much is arrogance, self-centeredness an possibly insecurity.
Check yourself frequently to see if you crossed the line.

Let others think highly about yourself. Let not one openly boast about his/her natural gift, knowledge and wisdom. These are all but temporal phase and eventually wither. A lowly person never acts out of rivalry or conceit, rather, let all parties think humbly of others as superior to themselves; each one looking to others' interests rather than to his own. Only then, a lowly spirit is uplifted and gains honor.

I think a person should appreciate the person they have become if it's a positive one, but constantly bragging about your accomplishments in life to other people is very arrogant.

Why do you think highly of yourself? Are you kind, mature, humble, helpful, courteous, wise, charitable and progressing spiritually?
