I need you to look at these two sentences, and tell me which you think it is : English or american... and how can you tell...

the sentences are:

Still very apprehensive with regards to the exams, so that problem is sorted as well

Hmm, therefore the UK sounds like the most viable option out of the lot,

Well, which is it, and how could you tell?

This question is just for fun as we all know deep down which nation have no conception how to use the language correctly, but just for fun I'd like to hear from both sides and how those guilty parties can possibly justify referring to crisps as chips and chips as french fries! I mean, come on!!! ;-)

So, ever since I was young, I've been a shy person and I talked really quiet because sometimes I would get made fun of (when younger) for having a high pitched voice. I think I unconsciously began talking in a deep, monotonous voice so that I wouldn't stand out as much (from shyness, and voice insecurity) now I'm 18 and I still talk similar to how I did when I was younger...slow, monotone, and quiet. People have told me I have a monotone voice or ask me why I talk like that. Also people commonly tell me to speak up or they can't understand me because I mumble.

What is a good way to speak clearly, loudly, and with multiple tones and pitch, I'm tired of having a monotone voice. I hate it and its actually one of two of the major problems that I have with myself.

I am obviously fluent in english, the language I was talking about is russian. I can speak and understand it perfectly(my family and friends do not understand english so I have to speak to them in russian) but I can only read and write very slowly with usually many mistakes. I get many strange looks when I try to pronounce store names in the russian district of the city because I am 15 and they expect me to be able to read well.

Is this abnormal in any language?
