in terms of people who speak it and territories where it is spoken. I mean to be honest SPANISH is only spoken in the western hemispheres and Spain that it. While French is spoken all over the world. They say that there are 320 million native spanish speakers in the world and probably 400 million combining native and non-native. While in French there are 80 million native speakers but combining native and non-native there are 500 million.

What are the typical average units or credits for each and averages classes to take for a major or minor in Spanish. Whats the goal of a minor in a foreign language. Do you become fluent with a minor or not neccessarily?
