I wrote sentences using vocab words and:

1. I want to say: The clothing......is very expensive but is of good quality. I wrote: La ropa.....es muy cara pero es de buena calidad...
Is that correct?

2. I'm trying to say: My dentist always tells me to use the dental floss twice a day.
I said: Mi dentista siempre me dice usar el hilo dental...
Is that right and how do you say twice a day?

3. I wrote a sentence about cuando tenía once años, recibí una cartita en mi armario....pero era anónimo.
For the: but it was anonymous, do I use era or fue?

How do you say this in Spanish: Tenochtitlan was the capital of the azteca empire?

Also; how do you use the word, "was" without making it sound like you were going somewhere?

BTW is it: Tenochititlan fue un capitalidad de imperio de acteca. something like that???

If I wanted to say: It is how much a thing costs...
Would it be es cuanto cuesta una cosa
or es cuantA cuesta una cosa because it is cosA...
Just basically, do I use cuanto or cuanta? Maybe a little explanation too...?
