depends on the pronoun

I went = yo fui
you went = tú fuiste
he/she/ you (formal) = él/ella/usted fue
we went = nosotros fuimos
you (plural) = ustedes fueron
they went = ellos fueron

it depends, spanish has two form of past tense. Preterito y Imperfecto.

I went: Fui, Iba
You went: Fuiste, ibas
He/she went: Fue, Iba
we went: Fuimos, Ibamos
they went: fueron, iban
