"Benjamin" or "Beniamin" is how the Greeks wrote the original Hebrew name in Genesis : "Benyamin" ("Ben-yamin:" "son of right/of good luck/of the South"). In the Greek Septuagint : "beniamin". (In Russian it's Вениамином, and in Bulgarian Вениамин.)
