despite many repetitions. I've been listening to the language cd and studying the alphabet pronunciation guide for the past few days but still can't say it exactly like the instructor does. Does that mean German is not for me? I'm a complete beginner. Any advice?

By Llaeth here I mean the N Wales meaning..buttermilk
(milk = llefrith).
My father used to drink it, buttermilk with some warm water added..UGH..I thought it was revolting.I haven't heard anyone mention it in years.
He also used to eat "Bara llaeth"..bread in buttermilk but I would only eat "Bara llefrith"..bread in (warm) milk..yummy!!
What has happened to these old dishes..cheap wholesome foods.

2) What I find IT most difficult is to drive an old lorry.
In English usually one says I FIND IT MOST DIFFICULT TO drive.... but can I insert IT in a sentence with the subject WHAT? I don't think so!
I think ONLY the FIRST sentence is correct, am I right?
Thanks a lot.
