There's nothing wrong with the sentence ,and where do you see Welsh?

This is a quote by Bachgen Dawnus , whoever he might be, which means `I will not fail` or `I won`t give in`. It`s all German.

Yeah it means "I will not fail."
Bachgen Dawnus is not german. Must be a name.

I can't judge the Welsh, but the German looks like a bad translation from English "I won't fail". The words are German, but that sentence is not grammatical in German.

This looks to me like a mixture of Welsh and German. "Clever boy: I shan't let you down!"
