Los cuerpos de los heridos fueron empujados a un precipicio de unos cien metros de profundidad. Esta matanza tuvo lugar a eso de las 10 de la noche. Teodoro Gabuyo que testifico sobre este hecho recibio cinco bayonetazos; pero por fortuna no fallecio, y un compañero suyo, que despues murio, desato sus manos; fue a Jones, Isabela, para dar cuenta al Coronel Manriquez, 14th Infantry; que este envio soldados al lugar para socorrer a los supervivientes Palogan, Leon Bayaca y Tomas Alcid; que estos tres no fueron hallados porque se dirigieron al Hospital Provincial de Nueva Vizcaya; pero al enterarse de su paradero, los japoneses les sacaron del hospital y les mataron. Baguyo, el unico superviviente, es el unico testigo. Porque no declararon dos testigos, el acusado debe ser absuelto de este cargo.

My good guy friend speaks Spanish and when I say "perdoname" he gets really upset and says he doesn't like it when I say perdoname. I know it means "forgive me" or you say it when you are really sorry, so I don't understand why he doesn't like it when I say that. Anyone know?

Some English-learning Japanese and I are now discussing the usage of 'that' and 'it'.
Please have a look at the example dialogue I made.

A: Look here. Don't you think this spelling is wrong? I've never seen this myself. I think that's simply a misspelling.
B:
(1) That's right.
(2) It is right.

I personally feel that it can be thought;

1, if B says "That's right", it means he/she agrees to A's opinion, ie. "That's simply a misspelling. "
2, if B says "It is right.", it means (or might mean) 'the spelling' is right, thus what A thinks is wrong.

Is what I am thinking is correct?

Usually, "That's right" is quite often heard; while "It's right" seems to be heard obviously less frequently.
Is it weird or strange to say "It's right.", with 'it' indicating some concret thing previously mentioned or appeared in the conversation
(not as the "it is (for sb) (to do)" construction) ?

Please give me a clue why "It's right." is not so often heard as "That's right" is.

for example english u say the mary's house. u dont say the house of mary, u dont say the team of oliver, u say oliver's team, I dont understand how to make a possive in english.
