For those who will ask ''what's that''.. lemme tell u that it's a dialect spoken in China.

Now, the ones who speak Hakka... may u answer this, please?

I speak Fujianese, which is very similar to Hakka especially the nouns.

None of my Hakka friends (from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China) can speak Hakka fluently. They can only speak few phases, their own name and name of food.

It is not harder than Mandarin per se, but it's harder to find learning materials because it's not that useful.

Like in Fujianese, I can speak fluently because I learned from talking to my grandmothers. The lack of written text makes it hard for outsiders to learn.

For Hakka, there's another additional problems than most Chinese dialects. Hakka is not a regional dialect but a dialect used in an ethnic group that's now scattered all over the world. The dialect is different from region to region.

hm... and I don't think you can find TV shows in Hakka.

For those who need to ask clearly: "Do you speak the Chinese dialect 'Hakka' - if so, is it harder to learn than Mandarin?"
No, I only speak Manadarin. I do not speak the Hakka dialect.
