In college, taking my second semester of spanish and I HATE it. I've been taking it since 7-11 grade. I feel like I'm just tired of it. Any I actually feel bad when I go to that class, Its like here we go again. And she speaks all in spanish.

What can I do to imporve my spanish, what shows to watch, music to listen too etc. Should I study for it everyday? Any tips on what to do to survive my final semester of spanish.

I'm knocking spanish or anything, it an exteremely use language, that is used world wide. But I just don't think its for me, I'm rather do sign lanugage or japanese.

Anyway any tips on what to do?

It would be helpful if someone could give the phrase in Hebrew text, as well (rather than a romanization.)

Any living language will evolve somewhat...but we control the rate. So uniformity would give us the most continuity over time and space..while diversity found regionally or among cultural groups form the beginnings of new languages if diversion continues may be important cohesive factor for that group...which is more important?

To anyone who does not have english as a first langauge, do you think it is pretty?

Its difficult for me to decide for myself becuase it is the first language that I have ever spoken. Sometimes I just wonder what it sounds like to someone who doesn't speak it. My friend who I speak spanish with told me that it sounds like it has a lot of "sh, t," and "d" sounds.

Just curious , thanks. :)

1-What does "his face is swept back" mean?would you please describe it to me?
2-what does"Ricochet Abdini,’Bing, ping, ping!”mean?
3- I don't understant what the charachter exactly mean by "know you’re not allowed to say it anymore, about other places being different and all". Does he mean that in other places the attornies are different from Abdini?

"Abdini is fat the way an anvil is fat, but his face is probably swept back by the velocity of his talking. He’s my attorney. The judge appointed him. I guess nobody else works Sundays around here. I know you’re not allowed to say it anymore, about other places being different and all, but, between you and me, you can tell Abdini is the product of centuries of fast-talking and double-dealing. Ricochet Abdini,’Bing, ping, ping!”
