I recently made a Jewish friend, and he's sooooooo sweet and wonderful! It's like we're two peas from the same pod! I tell him that he's my long lost twin! Haha!

Not that its a big deal or anything, cause it really isn't, but I'm just wondering if Jews drink or not. I don't really wanna ask him, cause that could be awkward coming out of the blue! I know he celebrates the holidays, but I highly doubt that he's Orthodox.

I am from Hong Kong, a student currently studying Mass Communication in Australia. I have been here for more than 1 year and my ultimate goal is to improve my English.

However, it is quite a hard issue for international students like me to deal with because I don't think in English but Chinese. I have tried to learn English, but basically I still can't apply English very well. it's funny that I learn English by watching NBA and browsing Yahoo! News everyday. It does help but I suppose it's not enough.

So, could somebody who are not English-speaking be able to give me some advice and share some experience, how to improve my English?
