Im looking for a different translation of the above quote into irish gaelic. I know in gaelic its "Is é do mhac do mhac go bpósann sé ach is í d'iníon go bhfaighidh tú bás" but i want "son" to be changed to "lover" and "daughter" to "friend" so it reads "Your lover is your lover until they marry, but your friend is yours until you die"

I want to translate books, manuals etc instead of using verbal foreign language skills. (working for the FBI, immigation, freelance work etc.) Would this be a good major/minor for this career?

Also, I wanted to get a minor in German and Japanese, would that qualify enough or should I get a major in it down the road?

Can I have two minors/double majors when being a translator?
