I need to find animals in which the first letter is "Kha". (i.e. kharouf) I'm making Arabic flashcards for my class of younger children so the animal has to be a common name. Thanks in advance!

khinzeer: pig.
khinzeer al bahr: porpois (type of fish)
kharamaan:garfish(also type of fish)
khinzeer al ardh: Ard vark( that eats ants!)
khirteet: Rhinoceros
khushf: Fawn (child of a haeenah).
khuffaash: bat.
khuld: mole- rat.
Khattaf al- bahr: tern (type of bird).
khaleesh: a starling (also a type of bird).
p.s.: sorry if these words are relatively complicated for children, but i would really advocate the notion that children must be exposed to as many arabic names as possible.

There are not any Moslem's names or Christian names. they are arabic names and english names. allow pets be pets, except you're married to them then they become your significant different/s. We %. certain names for pets in basic terms to distinguised animal and human beings, so so that you are able to stay clear of any confusion. allow say, if I ask you to call Tom to come back this position; you will get puzzled, which Tom, i'm speaking about. Is it Tom the animal or Tom the guy.
