I am just starting learning sign language and was wondering if anyone can help me to provide information of where the deaf community of my local area (Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire, GB) meet, and to find out whether or not it would be possible to come down and volunteer - and also help to improve my skills.

Thank you

Hi, I'm a Korean English leaner.

When I read the words which end with er, re or r (for example: here, there, chair, bear, for, etc..), do I have to pronounce 'r'?

I went to the concorida language camps when I was younger and I loved it but I have lost so much of it and I was just wondering if anyone knew a place other than a college in minnesota offering the language.

When you called a thing something when you were little, what is the correct way to say it in Spanish? Like "I always called her Spark." It is llamaba? Yo siempre llamba...etc.? Or is it "Me siempre llamaba"?
I'm so confused.

I was just wondering, because although my native language is English, I also know quite a bit of Spanish, plus a little German and French. A native Spanish speaker once referred to me as being "fluent" in Spanish. However, I have reservations about describing myself as fluent, since I know that there are quite a few Spanish words I don't know. But then again, there are also quite a few English words that aren't in my vocabulary, but I know that I'm certainly fluent in English. What does it take to be considered fluent in a language?

The word 'ignorant' means "ignorance; not knowing, lack of knowledge", which does not mean the act of ignoring someone or something.

The singular word for 'cell' in Japanese, written in Romaji, is 'saibou'. The cell in this context refers to animal or plant cells. What is the Japanese plural form of 'saibou'? How do you say 'two cells', 'five cells' or 'eight cells' in Japanese? I'm looking for an answer spelled in Romaji, I can't read Kanji, Hiragana or Kana ;-) Thanks!
