I have a wonderful friend who I would love to thank! He speaks great English but Spanish is his first language and so I'd like to give this to him in Spanish. My written Spanish is not the best so could you please help me? Thanks so much!! ---------

"I thought that soul mates and kindred spirits were only found in poems and fairy tales.
But then I met you.
Now I know they are real.

You are an unexpected gift.
Your friendship, a surprise blessing.
Something I was waiting for without even knowing it.

I will be forever grateful for you.
And will carry a piece of you in my heart.
Always here, always your friend, always."

I have an oral test tomorrow, and we have partners and I need to make sure this is right:

Socio 1) ¿Vamos a ir directamente ahi?

Socio 2) Si.

Please don't just copy it all into an online translator, I really want a real person to tell me if it's right. There are not accurate. Ohh, and is there a difference between "allí" and "ahi"?

A guy I work with said "tu eres bonita y noble." What does "noble" in Spanish mean? Is it the same thing in Spanish as it is in English?

He also calls me "mamacita" should I take that as disrespectful? He kisses me on the cheek a lot and asks me to be his "novia"..I take it as joking. He said "quieres ir bailando conmigo?" Do you think he was joking or serious? I don't want to take it seriously if he is just playing, but I don't want to hurt his feelings either, he's so adorable!

Thanks!

That one thing is alienating me from a lot of my friends. I speak 12 languages and I think that people that hate the sound of other languages are ignorant. Is it because of illegal immigration and 9/11 or do Americans just hate other cultures? Am I an anti-American left coast liberal douchebag if I'm burnt out with my own people for that reason? I can understand if your town is overrun with illegal aliens but a lot of Americans even hate it when they are money spending tourists which doesn't make any sense...I miss the carefree Clinton years.

Alright, so I am taking French Honors this year in high school, and still do not know exactly how to use infinitives. For example, I know manger (to eat), etre (to be), faire (to do), etc, but I am not sure how to use infinitives in the form so that they would apply as "eating, being, doing, etc", thanks guys.
