The word 'ignorant' means "ignorance; not knowing, lack of knowledge", which does not mean the act of ignoring someone or something.

Yeah the adjective could be "indifferent".
If you are ignoring someone you are choosing to be ignorant of whatever they are doing so as to not let it affect you. So it works. The suffix ignor must mean "to remain with out knowledge of".

If you say the "act of" doesn't that make it a verb? Ignorant and ignorance are adjectives because they describe a current state of a person or idea.

Dispropotionate, as lots of the thoughts were extreme. Overplayed, aggrandized, overemphasized, or hyperbolized because the actors tended to position it on thick and exaggerate the scenes and characters they performed. wish this permits somewhat.
