No I think will be a multicultural and multilingual country. But english always will be the official language in USA. In another countries we have a 2nd language, -like english- but is just a 2nd language, like spanish 4 some US States.

When you check out job listings in the want ads how often do you see "Spanish Speaking preferred"? What does this warn us of? If Americans don't learn Spanish so that we can keep or have those bi-lingual desired jobs, Spanish speaking people who learn English will get all those jobs and it won't be long before people who "only speak English" are the minority in the work place. Who then would be controlling our economy?

No, because you're enough intelligent to make them learn English. I'm Spanish, and in most places we go, we simply don't understand what people says, because most Arabic and Romanian people who live here don't want to learn Spanish, maybe in some years, Spanish people don't speak Spanish, but never North Americans.

It already largely is.
In a way, maybe that's a blessing. It's certainly going to make it tough for the other foreign invasion forces, especially since those Spanish speaking people are heavily Christian.
Wonder how the Atheists are going to also deal with it. Spanish getting inflicted upon them by devotely religious people who got both the langauge and the religion from a former Byzantine state.

Spanish speaking children go to English speaking schools. I doubt it, unless the schools become all Spanish speaking for some reason and reject English.

No, because the great majority of the population speaks only English and has no intention of switching languages. Spanish speakers will remain a minority.

i does no longer be shocked if this usa spoke a form of Spanglish. a blend of English and Spanish. English is the language of commerce global. it can make extra experience for this usa to have English because the authentic language. maximum human beings learn the language at the same time as they arrive to the U.S. that would not seem most of the case at the same time as the Latinos come from Mexico and Latin u.s.. Hispanics who come to American aren't any further as prepared to benefit the language and melt into society as previous immigrants. which will be because of this variety of tremendous number of crossing into the U.S. illegally. they want to proceed to be cut loose American society. Our authorities assists them in no longer merging into society by technique of marketing Spanish. a person-friendly language unites human beings. Separate languages divides.

no. everyone who comes here learns English just to survive, ie get a job, shop, watch TV etc. whats more likely to happen is that more Spanish or Spanglish words will find the way into the English language, like lasso, mesa, and others all ready have.
