What does the term 'hater' actually mean, apart from the obvious? I just read a question which had put "...its the same with bassists, they're all haters'.

Last night I couldn’t sleep. I had a nightmare.
In my dream I was falling to precipice and I flew.
The problem in my dream was that I couldn’t to find
Where I will to arrive and this was exasperating for me.
I thought in my dream this is only a dream but I couldn’t awake.
After that the awakener sounds and I awoke.
It was a nice moment for me.

The livelihood situation has improved steadily in the past few months: goods are now globally available on markets, especially on the coastal area, and their *diversity* has increased.

Majority of the people are now returnees (≈ 350 HH according to UNORC, Oct 2006) living either in temporary shelters or in permanent houses. Even if some problems occurred concerning shelter building (ownership of land, type of house expected by the beneficiaries not always fitting with NGOs initial proposition), which made the construction process slow, *the situation is going ahead*.

I really would love to go to an Asian country for a couple of years and teach English. I want to go to a country that does not have tones. I strongly desire to learn the language of the country I would live in, but I have a very hard time learning tonal languages.

We in India use "encash" quite frequently as "encash a cheque or a demand draft". My American English spell checker corrects it to "cash". Isn't "encash" a standard English word?

I am a junior in college and English is my first language. I am now taking Mandarin Chinese 101. I know its a little late to be learning such a complicated new language but I have a strong interest in the Chinese culture and I think learning Mandarin will be useful for me in the future. Are there any tricks or tips to learning the tones or any other facet of the language out there that have been useful to other Americans learning Mandarin? After a few classes, I'm a little overwhelmed with the complexity of the language, the characters and seeing just how different it is from English.
