It really all depends on how well you speak both languages. Speed is also a factor, as you do not want to have to pause for a minute to think of a word or how a verb conjugates, as these minutes quickly add up in conversation. Otherwise, I would say go for it. It is clearly something you feel passionate about doing, which will keep you motivated to know your vocabulary.

try the United countries! Or in case you at the on the spot are not interior the metropolitan ny area, try Google, Yahoo, or maybe Microsoft. they could have some telecommuting jobs for German language projects.... good luck!
