why do girls avoid what they really want to say in sted of just saying what they want?

Good question. I think that we feel as though our mates should already know how we feel. In theory, it's actually quite ridiculous.

girls' feeling are more sensitive than boys... maybe they feel shy or perhaps they have thought what will happen to them if they tell (either it is wrong or right). not all girls are same like that...some of them are very outspoken and say whatever they want to say..but somehow i agree that girls are a bit complicated..haha.. i write this based on what i feel

Women don't know what the hell they want. That's why they can go to a store looking for a specific item, a dress maybe and come back with 2 pairs of shoes, underwear, a CD, and a candle but no dress. Or they enter a shop and say "I love all these clothes" and not buy a dang thing, enter the next shop and say "I don't really like anything here" but end up blowing $100 on crap jewelry that looks like it belongs in my tackle box.

That and women have this way of never being able to be truly honest, maybe its repression, maybe its genetic.

A lot of times, what we want to say is hurtful or awkward, especially if it's said to another girl. Girls who say what they want to say are generally called "bitches." Men, on the other hand, have the fortune of being called "headstrong" and "assertive" when they say what they want.

Many societies consider it polite for both males and females to skirt around certain topics, implying things that can be uncomfortable to say outright.

because they tend to be very insecure and afraid of rejection; and therefore would prefer to be "people-pleasers" and defer to the opinions of others... many of these women come from dysfunctional families in which women are not encouraged to speak their minds, and instead are expected to not challenge the status quo/rock the boat/induce chaos... just my opinion... based on a lifetime of experience and observations... oh, and don't worry, there are millions of strong, opinionated, out-spoken, forthright women still out there!

Women and men have different ways of communicating. Chances are that they way women "say" things are perfectly clear to women, but not to men, because men just haven't learned to "speak their language".

I personally think that good communication is worth working on, though. You can learn how your loved one communicates and they can learn it about you.
