You should differ between the language needed in school or at work, and that you would study because you like it. You may say what you like on the language the most.

Would like it to say...

Hi, you've reached the voicemail of Marlie, I can't take your call right now. Please leave your name, number and a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks, bye.

Helpful if words are spelt as they sound for pronounciation.

Gracias.

This may sound like a stupid question, but this is a field I'm interested in, languages! And I thought I'd post this on Yahoo! India because I would like to ask the people this question is directed to mainly. Do you prefer speaking English to Hindi?? If you understand what I'm saying and if so, how do you feel about it being your official language?

Can anyone have a hack at translating this into french? it doesn't have to be literal just make sense. Its for a anti-smoking leaflet and we have it in English, Welsh, German, Russian but now we need French and we're scared that a translation site would muck it up. Anyway if you're willing to translate we can put your name on the leaflet!
This is what needs translating:
There are a few ways to reduce the amount of smokers in schools. Firstly by making sure all the consequences are known for example heart and lung diseases and growth problems. Also pupils who are smoke during the school day should have punishments. Finally we must make sure that parents are aware of the influence they have on their children if they smoke. Sometimes they can easily overlook this.

It's a Chinese metaphor. "A broken clock is right twice a day."
I've got my own opinion about it but I'd like to hear others. Any ideas?
