I've found resources online which claim that it literal means "dwelling" or "spirit of God". I need a more accurate and well-founded source.

Most languages other than English have an intimate form of address as well as a formal one. I have been told that thee and thou are part of that from the english language. Is that so? What about the word "ye" versus" you?

In my church, we pray using the words thee and thou. But no one knows how to conjugate verbs with them, so it's somewhat difficult. I have heard church leaders say that the words show respect to God, but in reality I think they show closeness and familiarity, like praying in other languages with the familiar form. Any thoughts?

Yesterday, I had asked a question regarding the differences between people plus culture in Northern Cal versus Southern Cal around 5pm and at 8pm last night I picked the best individual with an answer. I resolved my questions, but when I looked at my questions from yesterday seem like Yahoo had "removed" my question along with people's answers. Does anybody know why "Yahoo" removed them? I know my question didn't seem to offend or wasn't unappropriate or anything like that. Help!!

What a bad week, really. No happiness, just full of sadness, worry and spending all time with work. I was sleepless during last week.No longer a bright face, an active lady; nomore smiles, even being ready angry with anything.
Life is full of difficulties, try to accept, face to them and learn how to solve them by best ways. So that u can taste the sweet after overcoming, right?
