I think it's harder than British. It's pretty hard to follow sometimes, I actually have to pay attention which I don't have to do with most other accents.

As with all foreign accents, the Australian accent is 'strange' to the ear but, with time, you get accustomed and can understand quite well without even trying to listen attentively.
Actually, I love the accent. I never found it hard to understand.

Australians are easy to understand, you don't even need to hear what they say because they are the ones who are always humiliated you or laughing at you as they speed away with your girlfriend.
