why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing, grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham? If the plural of tooth is teeth, why isn't the plural of booth beeth? One goose, 2 geese. So one moose, 2 meese? One index, 2 indices?

i have been told that in Dutch it is something like Tieringsleijer (sic) which means someone suffering from consumption or Kutwijf literally c**twife meaning b*tch.
In German I was told arschgefichtessiebmonatenkind which means someone who takes unborn babies up the gary glitter..

Can anyone corroborate these, and tell me the worst in other languages - I have looked at insultmonger.com but it doesn't tell me which one is regarded as the worst.......

When I'm writing Chinese, I can't insert "ü" in the pinyin. If I insert it as a symbol it doesn't count as pinyin.

For ex: I want to write 女 (nü3), I type "n" and then when I try inserting the "ü" the "n" disappears. Currently I type the 女 in Japanese but this won't work for ever because I don't know much Japanese and I'm studying Chinese in college now.

When I'm typing Chinese it says " Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0 "

So what can I do?

my brother sent me an email that is in chinese (I think). It just looks like a bunch of mumbo jumbo; it does not look like chinese symbols. does anyone know of a way to convert it into chinese symbols so I can put it into a translator??

I truely hate the word 'snack' I don't know why, but when I hear that word I cringe. Is that weird? But anyways what word or words really get to you.

Ya, so I was chillin wit my boy one day when i randomly indicated that i've thought of a word and it is Para-donna-mox-a-niss (<-- Thats how i pronounce it.) any way i would find it funny if someone happend to notice this as being a real word, and if it currently holds no meaning to you, take a good look at it and tell me what you think it would mean to you, cuz a definition is one thing this word is lacking...

Okay, here is what i just wrote. Since English is not my mother tounge and i don't know much about poems in English (i'm a Computer engineer) i'm not sure if i got it correct.

Do i have any fatal grammar mistakes in:

Hurry up!
Grab the moment
Tomorrow is getting closer
Days are walking by

Hurry up!
Seize the pleasure
Sorrow is on the way
Happiness is passing by

Hurry up!
Open your eyes
Sunset is in the sight
Wind is blowing by

Hurry up!
Feel the rain
Drops are on the ground
Clouds are flying by

Hurry up!
Or, let it go
Take failure for granted
Winner is running by

If you could tell me what you think about it, i will appriciate.

Thanks in advance..
