Don't even try. They simply cannot understand how 'Apples and Pairs' reduced to 'Apples' can mean Stairs etc

I already know to speak German, Spanish, Norsk, Taigan and I am now learning french but I am confused as to what language to learn among the following: Italian, Russian (I already know how to read, write, and conversational russian), Czech, Polish, or Swedish (I know conversational Swedish). Some of the languages mentioned above, I know to a little extent but not fluently so I want to master one of these languages

I am translating a text and I cannot find out what's the meaning of this expression contained on this sentence.

"And in the following stanza it accuses the king of being driven too much by the desire to commit a murder which ' will bear bitter fruit ', to shed blood he must not touch."

can someone tell me a synonym to it in one word or two?
there is no answer to it in any dictionary I have searched.

So I grew up in California, and we had an apricot tree in the backyard. My mom, dad, as well as the rest of my extended family all pronounced it "ape-rih-cot." They are all extremely well educated and my mom's a writer, so they know how to pronounce words.

I moved to Connecticut a few years later, and I found out that EVERYONE pronounces it "ahp-rih-cot." Is this an East Coast vs. West Coast thing? Tomayto tomahto? The question has dogged me most of my life!

I'm trying to find a latin phrase that translates closely to 'Peaceful Revolution'.

Pax Pacis : peace, truce, treaty
Insurgo: to rise up, rebel, revolt
Insurgi: to rise up, rebel, revolt
Insurrectum: to rise up, rebel, revolt

I'm not sure if Pax Pacis is the best term for what I'm trying to express, and I'm not sure about Latin syntax i.e. which word would come first, I'm assuming Insurgo or one of those terms would come first followed by the adjective.

Can anyone help?
