I don't think swearing itself is bad. It's if you're verbally attacking someone, then it's bad.
Yes, people can be offended by it, but people are offended by a lot of things, some of which they are stupid to be offended by and I don't care if I'm offending them by saying that.

Swearing is just words. Just remember, words can hurt you if you feel guilty about saying them.

swearing, in my opinion is never ok. There are always other words that you can use in place of a swear word.
