Is this a common misconception or do Americans really like the English accent?
Is it the swarve posh ascent of someone like Hugh Grant or just the common everyday accent of the general public?

As being English myself, any info would be great

Cheers

Considering the fact that "beaucoup" means "much" in English? Thus "Je t'aime beaucoup" should mean I love you very much but it actually means simply, "I like you." While, "Je t'aime" means more which is "I love you."

I am an English teacher in China and want examples of slang and common usage language. I have looked at some of the answers to similar questions but most seem to be of a very simple and overtly sexual nature. There must be more varied ways of introducing yourself to a woman than "Get your coat you've pulled" This is a language question so be kind and try to keep your language to what might be found in a dictionary. Slang is good but too much swearing isn't

3.What time does Spanish class start?

I've heard it's very difficult, and I'd like to try to perfect my pronounciation of the French 'R' before trying it in public. Can anyone give any tips on pronouncing it? I've heard it's sorta like tightening your throat as in the English 'K,' but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
