I was in class and this guy said this girl was "kickin" and she took great offense to it. Why and what does this mean?

He meant she was good looking. Like that girls body is "kickin"

it means "hot"! usually it refers to hot sauce like Tabasco -- stuff that has kick to it. can refer to ppl too, but somewhat derogatory because it's depersonalizing and sexual.
