Traditionally Ramadan starts after 29 OR 30 days of Sha'aban, so how can anyone with *certainty* say it's going to be a specific day? You just don't KNOW for sure.

SO my question is; what are the TWO *possible days* it could be? (as in, when will the 29th day of Sha'aban end, today??)

This is about a sister who sadly became a widow recently. She was married with children. The family went for a holiday abroad. When the husband arrived there, he had a sudden heart attack and unfortunately he died. I was so very saddened when I heard this story. I can't begin to imagine the pain and grief she must be feeling. Please would you keep her and her deceased husband in you prayers? May God help her and her children through this difficult time and may her husband's soul rest in peace InshaAllah. (God willing).
Thankyou all....

What are the top five items you would like from this store:

They can be from any section. I want to get a couple things for me and some things for my husband and in-laws for Eid and to read/use during Ramadan Insha'Allah.

Dear Muslims and those who believe in God,
My dear gran has been feeling ill recently and has been in hospital twice. I am very worried about her. Alhumdulillah she has always been in good health but recently she has had alot of worries and the stress and pressure has made her ill. I am praying for her, I hope God will make her well again InshaAllah (God willing). I request please, would you also pray for my gran?? I am praying for her and so is my family but it would be great if you would pray for her too. I believe in power in numbers, my prayers are with her and I wish for all of your prayers to reach her too. I am very worried about her, I have never seen her this ill before. I hope InshaAllah (God willing) she will get well soon.
Thankyou all. God bless you.

I heard this really weird rumor that during the month of Ramadam, Muslims save their...um, bathroom materials and carry it in a bag all day. I am not being funny, I actually heard this somewhere. I mean no offense whatsoever. I want to get the facts straight. If there is a site where I can get more information on the practices of Muslims, I would like it, please.

We would normally have a cake/gathering during the afternoon. But as our co-worker will be fasting. It just doesn't seem right for us to have a cake - that he will watch us eat and then take home to eat by himself after sunset. How can we respect his beliefs but not treat him differently than other employees?

Islam and Christianity revere Mary above all other women, a human divinely appointed to bear Jesus in a virgin birth. But the Koran mentions Mary 34 times, and names an entire chapter after her -- more than she gets in the Bible, according to Cruden's Complete Concordance. She is the only woman mentioned by name in the Koran, and some scholars say Muslims actually revere her more than Christians do.

Islam proclaims that in the wealth of the rich is a portion that the poor have a right to. Instead of giving the poor their God-given rights, the rich started taking the lives and liberties of the poor as their own so much so that many Muslims got into a situation where they had little freedom to collect donations for their Muslim brethren in Bosnia. Governments of some Muslim countries were afraid that large donations would be collected, so they prohibited fundraising for Bosnia. Worse yet, some of these governments maintained diplomatic and economic relations with Serbia during the genocide in Bosnia. In doing so, they strengthened the hands of our killers—the real aggressors and perpetrators of genocide in Bosnia. (Holy Qur’ân 70:25 and 51:19)

They claimed that they killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of God! In fact, they never killed him; they never crucified him; they were led to believe that they did.

This was a great episode. I really was proud of David at the end when he said he would defend the Muslim people from now on.
