Asalamualaikum.

There is a certain person, this person is a close relative of mine. She is kind of two-faced. For a few days we'll be all nice and friendly but then after a while she goes and backbites about me. If she doesn't like me, then that doesn't bother me but what does bother me is that when she backbites then other people start treating me differently.
What is the best thing to do? I can't avoid her becuz she is a close relation.

My family is trying something different this year, we are giving no presents. We have cut back on the total number of gifts in recent years, and this year we are not giving any gifts. Do you think it would feel like Christmas in your family if there were no gifts?

It seems like many people are so offended to have to say "Happy Holidays" to be courteous to those who do not celebrate Christmas. I just wonder, why does this bother you to have to accomadate for other people's beliefs? And for those of you who get offended when people say "Merry Christmas" to you, why does this bother you?

Has anyone told you just how special you are this Christmas?
I think Christmas has lost all its meaning. Its who has the best gift, who spent the most money etc. I just wanted to tell everyone on Yahoo answers, you are all special. am the only Jew in my Office. My co-workers decorate for christmas and every year I help- this year
They got together early and decorated everything in blue and white lights, snow flakes, christmas tree orniments, even candy canes, because those are Channukah Colors, they made snow flakes over my desk with Menorahs on them. What do you honestly think about this? I was really touched!
