I don't celebrate Christmas per-say. I celebrate Yule or the Winter Solstice. This time of year though means family, togetherness, love and all the beautiful lights and decorations, food and drink associated with this time of year. When with my family I take part in the Christmas Celebration because they are Catholic and I do respect their beliefs. Happy Solstice and Marry Christmas to all on this site!

The joy of celebrating Jesus' birth with family, friends and loved ones. The giving of ourselves as symbolized by the gifts we give to others. The hopes that peace and good will are shown to others in this season and throughout the year. The looks of a childlike spirit pronounced in the smiles of faces of all ages. The singing of Christmas carols revealing the rhythm of the soul and beat of the heart.

Christmas is a reminder of the Birth of Christ and a time in my life when I had a Family as opposed to now, that I have no one left. It was a time of Family gatherings and great Dinners and presents and sharing the love which was reciprocated by my Mom and Dad and my three Sisters and ultimately my late Wife. It was a time of joy and happiness which does not exist anymore more in reality, but remains and is ever rpreent in my heart and mind.

It is the time of the year when I celebrate Jesus' birth.
It means that I give everyone gifts to represent the gifts that were given to Jesus and the gifts that he gave to me.
It means I put up a Christmas tree to celebrate His light to the world and that we are waiting for him to come again. Which really, I think he is already here in the hearts of all Christians.
It means that we welcome people into our homes and give them food and drink and joy.
I sing the music that makes the season festive.
Christmas gives me a warm feeling inside. I think it is called love.

Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, God the Son.
The angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger."
And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying:
"Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests."
(Luke 2:10-14)
With love in Christ.
