Does anyone know where I can find kid friendly stuff that isn't breakable? I have quite a bit of decor; however, A LOT of breakables so I am not putting them out this year due to having a 16 month old. Can anyone recommend a website or a store that has things that are OK if my daughter gets into them. I don't want anything plush for my own decor. Thanks!

We spent all day hanging Christmas lights only to find out that the whole strand was just barely too short. We have about 10 inches over the garage that is bare! That's too short to buy another strand for and too long to leave as is. So, that got me wondering, What do other people do when they have this problem? Should we buy another strand and take out most of the bulbs? or Should we take all the lights down and repostions them so the bare spot is less noticeable? Or is there another solution I'm missing?
Any Advice?

Thanks!

Do you have a Christmas tree in your house or apartment? If no, why not? If yes, why so?

I bet most of you were thinking that it's because of Jesus' b-day. Well, it's not because there is no proof that Jesus was born on December 25th. So, who has the best answer?

My boyfriend said he got me a present already. He said it would look good sitting on my dresser and that it matched my room. My room is all horse stuff. Does anyone have any idea what he got me?

Do you think that we should tell our children that Santa Claus is not real? In my personal opinion I believe that we should let them hold on to the magic of Christmas as long as they can. With all of the violence in the world and the horrible things that are going on I believe that children should hold on to their childhood as long as they can and that to tell them the truth about their hero is really sad. I would like your opinion on this please.

Or any at all? I have a real Norfolk pine that I've had for about 9-10 years in a pot on my patio. Do you kill a tree for christmas or plant one?
