The number 1 Christmas gift for a 2 year old is definetely any kind of Tickle-Me-Emo. My younger sister got a Tickle-Me-Elmo recently and she loves it! She plays with it all of the time. I think that your two year old would be really happy with Elmo as a gift, especially if he/she likes Sesame Street.

Lots of two year olds are happier playing inside the (large) box that a gift came in. Good luck!

Well it depends if it is a girl or a boy. For a boy usually a John Deere play toy tractor or you know a dump truck or something like that. And for two year old girl, ummmm well in my point of view. I would get them the same thing as the boy cus i love playing with boy stuff i dont know give it a try!!!!!

A leap pad do your kid a favor and give him or her a head start on life, kids learn the most at this age till there about 6 or 7 years old take advantage of them now by educating them before they have a say, this will help out in the long run too.

Go to FamilyFun.com and look up the November issue. It lists the top toys of 2006. I used it as my gift buying guide for my niece and nephew for Christmas and their birthdays and the toys that I got from it where a hit.

Elmo TMX if you can afford it or big duplo blocks, even babydolls if they are a girl. Legos and Duplo blocks ALWAYS go over great with kids! For a boy, the TMX would be good too, even the duplos, or BIG stuffed animals that they can snuggle with while they watch their kid DVD's. Anything Leap Frog is great too. My 10 month old daughter LOVES Leap Frog products. Hope that helps some! :) Good luck :)

Probably a Tickle Me Elmo

Anything that has lights and cute sounds and hands on moving parts that cannot be pulled off the toy.

Tickle Me Elmo will be fine for a minute but that gets boring when they see that all he does is that annoying giggle . . . . . sorry but true. ;)

The best thing my two year old has is a small ride on push toy from Walmart, he uses it every day all the time. :)
